Sabbath School Ministry

The Sabbath School Department provides a learning and instructional environment that effectively meet the physical and spiritual needs of its members. It caters to all age groups--- Primary, Teens and Adults by providing age-specific lesson study material and knowledgeable staff.

The department’s objective is to encourage fellowship and activity in small groups, train and equip members for ministry and discipleship, while strengthening their own biblical knowledge.

The SS Department have several Superintendents who present interesting programs every Sabbath morning with the first Sabbath of every month dedicated to Maranatha. Our lesson study is also taught as a whole.

As Adventist we pride ourselves with being well versed in the Word, so it is our desire to not only gain new members and have them baptized but to make them spiritually educated and comfortable teaching the Bible.

The SS Department’s current activities include a monthly continental breakfast which is to increase attendance, prospective workshops for Superintendents, Teachers and anyone interested in learning how to teach the Sabbath School Lesson.

The Goals:
  1. Study of the Scripture
  2. Fellowship
  3. Community Outreach
  4. World Mission

Earlier this year we collected new and lightly worn shoes for The Havilah Children’s Orphanage in Tanzania, Africa.

Sabbath School Council meetings are held once a month with teachers, superintendents where plans, problems, solutions are exchanged.

‘We can do all things through Christ which strengthens me’, by His grace we can and will provide interactive and innovative programs to promote spiritual growth while also encouraging and increasing member and community attendance.
