Are you ready for Round Two? The next 8 week Bible Boot Camp will resume Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Be prepared to have a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Christ as we explore the Power of Prayer. Dinner will be served from 6:00-7:00 and Bible Study will be from 7:00-8:30. Good News First Church Members! We have a dedicated prayer line for First Church members, their friends, and whoever they would like to join us 5 times per week, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM for prayer. The number is 1-213-226-0400. Pin is 874990. Someone will be on the line to take your prayer request and pray with you. Please do not hesitate to call in. We are looking for volunteers to host Wednesday nights. These should be individuals who do not come to prayer meeting regularly for whatever the reason is. Call Elder Walters and Sis. Women’s Ministry - There will be a meeting on Feb 4th immediately following 11 o’clock service. Come find out what the plans are for 2012. There are surprises in store and new things coming. Come find out first hand.
Health and Temperance - National Go Red Day is February 3rd. Support Women's Heart Month and wear something red on that day.
Health and Temperance - National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day is February 7th. Take time and get educated on this disease.
